The colour-coded Qur’an is intended to facilitate and enhance the reading of the Qur’an with tajweed.
- The letters which require “Tafkhim” are marked with Brown
- The letters which require “Qalqala” are marked with Red
- The letters which require “Ghunna” are marked with Orange
- The letters which require “Idgham” are marked with Green
- The letters which require “Ikhfa” are marked with Blue
- The letters which require “Ikhfa with Mim Sakin” are marked with Pink
Abdullaah bin Mas’ood (ra) reported that the Messenger S.A.W said: “Whoever recites one letter from the Book of Allaah then he will receive a good reward, and every good deed is rewarded with ten times its like. I do not say that Alif Laam Meem is one word but Alif is one word, Laam is one word and Meem is one word.”
